VelaSmooth

VelaSmooth is a non-surgical laser designed to reduce cellulite, creating smoother skin. This non-invasive medical laser is designed to deliver multiple types of energy at the same time.  It is a combination of radio frequency, infrared heat and light. When the heat and light are deposited into the cellulite and fatty cells, they provide energy that begins to stimulate the metabolism in the cells, ultimately reducing the fat and/or cellulite.

In Preparation

We suggest for optimal results that you have available and begin the use of Epionce™ Renewal Enriched Body Lotion.  The following supplements are also highly beneficial and are available in our office: Super Citrimax, Purelean Multivitamin, Slimaluma Plus, and Niacinamide.

The Treatment

What to Expect Prior to Treatment

We ask that, if necessary, you shave the area that is to be treated.  It is best if the skin is not tan, and has not had sunless tanning products applied to it.  Limit your caffeine intake prior to your treatment.

What to Expect During Treatment

Our Esthetician will take the treatment head, and in alternating patterns, massage the area that is being treated.  The procedure will feel like a deep heated massage with little or no discomfort. If you are treating cellulite on your upper legs this treatment will take around an hour.  

At Home Care

Do not have any caffeine or alcohol for at least two days after your treatment. Moisturize daily with Epionce™ Renewal Enriched Body Lotion to keep the skin healthy and glowing and drink plenty of water.     

What You Should Know

There is a possibility of short term effects such as tenderness, reddening, blistering, scabbing, temporary bruising and temporary discoloration of the skin, as well as rare side effects such as scarring and permanent discoloration. 

Once you have completed a series of treatments, maintenance treatments are strongly recommended in order to keep the results you have achieved.  One treatment every 6-8 weeks is typically recommended for maintenance.
