MICROBLADING

Microblading is a semi-permanent form of tattooing. It renders the most natural looking result in the permanent cosmetic field. It is done with a pulling or swiping motion of a hand held tool that has very fine needles, allowing for the placement of hair like strokes into the skin. Topical anesthetic is applied to reduce discomfort. Two treatments are needed for desired results 30-60 days apart. Results last 18-24 months on average and the pigment naturally fade.

Consider Treatment

  • Thinning or odd shaped eyebrows
  • Alopecia and or vitiligo that affects hair growth, color and or thickness
  • Hair loss secondary to chemotherapy

In Preparation

We recommend that you come into your appointment with your brows shaped how you like them.  You should avoid waxing or tweezing the brow area for 2 – 3 days prior to your treatment.  For after care we recommend that you have Epionce™ Medical Barrier Cream and Epionce™ Ultra Shield Lotion SPF 50.

The Treatment

What to Expect Prior to Treatment

The area will be cleansed and topical numbing cream will be applied to your brows to reduce discomfort. Using a method that we received exclusive training on, we will measure your current brows and work with you to design the new brow shape that will best accent your features.

What to Expect During Treatment

A pigment is custom blended to match your hair color. Initial strokes are placed, and then anesthetic is reapplied to reduce any discomfort. Pigment is worked into each stroke to define the brow.  The most distracting part of the procedure is the sound of the hand tool pulling.  Some clients prefer to bring headphones to help reduce the noise.

What to Expect After Treatment

Once the Esthetician feels like an adequate amount of strokes has been placed she will apply Epionce™ Medical Barrier Cream and further discuss your post care.  She will also discuss in greater detail the touch up session.

At Home Care

Apply Epionce™ Medical Barrier Cream for the next 5 days.  If crusting occurs apply Polysporin. You will want to avoid picking at the scabs as you may remove the pigment.  Daily use of sunscreen, SPF 30 or higher, will prolong results.
